Scholarship programs for single mothers in Utah

(KUTV) Salt Lake City - After unexpectedly losing her husband in 2005, Katie Bunnell was left to provide for her 3 month old daughter as a single mother. Despite the unbearable pain, Katie decided to go to college to receive her bachelor's degree from Utah Valley University. Katie searched for scholarships, but had difficulty finding any scholarships for her situation. Katie sat down with Brooke & Caitlin today on Fresh Living to talk about how she is using the organization she created along with her family, the Live Your Dream Foundation, to give scholarships to other single mothers in similar situations and help them accomplish their dreams of providing for their families.
