(KUTV) Allyson Chard, founder of the Utah Christkindlmarkt, visited Fresh Living with details of this week's event.
The Christmas market will be held December 1st through 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day at This is the Place Heritage Park.
There will be 65 unique vendors offering handcrafted items, toys, ornaments, jewelry, with a focus on European or German projects. The items you will find include nutcrackers, handmade rolling pins and more.
There will also be delicious foods such as Dutch pancakes, European waffles, authentic Italian pizza, Siegfrieds and more
This year's featured Humanitarian is Pamela Atkinson - there are many shopping markets during the holiday but few that feature a focus on service and giving as the cornerstone of the market. This year with the help of Pamela, youth will make 500 meals and deliver to shelters. Childrens Parades Amazing entertainment- Choirs the famous Rick Schwemmer, One Voice Children's Choir and more Live Nativity, Gnome Fest, visits with St. Nicholas, storytelling.
