Utah singer Mykel talks new single, music video

Mykel joined Fresh Living to share more about her journey as an artist and her upcoming single.
Mykel is a dynamic vocalist and singer-songwriter, with diverse music featuring anthemic and power ballad pop with an R&B influence.
Her sound has been compared to artists including Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and Dua Lipa.
Involved in singing, dance, and musical theater from a young age, Mykel began writing songs in 2014 and released her well-received debut EP — Imagine — in 2015.
In 2016, Mykel moved from her hometown near Salt Lake City to L.A. to pursue her music career.
Mykel’s music and videos convey messages of authenticity, human empowerment, body positivity, and the importance of mental and emotional wellbeing.
In her own words: “Music is my personal coping mechanism. It’s how I relate to the world around me and process my own emotions. I aspire to make music that encourages and helps others to do the same.”
Her new single and music video 'That One Thing' will be released on Jan 14, 2022.
