(KUTV) Religion can be an emotional topic, especially in Utah.

Salt Lake Tribune religion reporter Peggy Fletcher Stack has experienced that firsthand.

She shared several stories with Shauna Lake about reactions she received about articles she has written over the years.

"I hear from people all the time if I make a mistake," she said.

Readers are often very passionate about what she writes, especially if it is about their own faith.

"They care passionately about it and I'm happy for that," she said. "That means people are really reading it; they're not just skimming it, they're not just clicking. They actually care if I get it right."
