(KUTV) Coach Tim Branham encourages people to come out to a Utah Grizzlies game if they haven't yet.
"There's a saying in our front office that 'you're a hockey fan, you may just not know it yet,'" he said. "It's a great sport. It's full of excitement."
This past season, they had two sell-outs of over 10,000 fans.
"That place just gets rockin'," he said of the Maverik Center. "Even if you don't know anything about the game, just coming, and attending, and being a part of that excitement, and everything that the game has to offer, you get hooked."
Branham is working to spread that excitement to the youth.
He started a hockey camp for youth in Wisconsin 15 years ago, and travels back there for two weeks every summer to go and teach.
"It's always been a good time," he said.
Branham started a youth hockey camp here in Utah as well.
"It's going very well. Last year was the first year in Ogden," he said.
