The Palisade Golf Course is loved by golfers of all skill sets and offers some of the most challenging greens in the state. This 18-hole course is also home to a pro shop staffed by a PGA professional and is stocked with all the golf supplies and attire you need.
Don't forget to stop by the snack bar to pick up breakfast, lunch or dinner. Tee times are accepted up to seven days in advance and group applications can are also accepted.
Not much of a golfer? Try your hand at camping instead. Pitch a tent or bring your RV to one of Palisade's 55 campsites - including nine sites with full hookups. Modern restrooms with hot showers and culinary water are on site. Group sites are also available for your family reunions or gatherings.
You won't want to miss out on playing in the water at Palisade State Park. If you don't have water toys or if you forgot to bring them, the park has a solution for you. They rent paddle boats, paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks for kids and adults. Your rental also includes life jackets and paddles.
OHV Paradise
If you ride an ATV, side-by-side, or any other off-highway-vehicle, you'll quickly learn that Sanpete County is home to one of Utah's treasures, the Arapeen OHV Trail System.
Why is the Arapeen Trail System so popular? Because it's enormous - spanning across 750,000 acres of National Forest on the Manti Mountain and featuring over 550 miles of rideable trails. About two-thirds of all the trails in the Arapeen System are side-by-side friendly, making it an OHV paradise.
Another enticing aspect of the Arapeen Trail System is how accessible it is throughout a large portion of Sanpete County. Riders can hop on through Fairview, Mt. Pleasant, Spring City, Ephraim, Manti, Sterling, and Mayfield. All the trails are interconnected, so you could wake up in Spring City, spend your day on the trail and then lay your head down for the night in Mayfield. The possibilities are endless!
