(KUTV) Holly Menino takes viewers inside the Skills Lab at Roseman University, a Utah school intent on producing highly-skilled nurses.

Jennifer Piburn, a nursing student at the school, offers a glimpse into a regular day at Roseman, visiting her computerized patient named Alex.

The high-tech mannequin is controlled by an instructor sitting in another room. The mannequin allows student to not only think on their feet, but simulate many of their skills.

Director of the Skills and Simulation Lab at Roseman University Suzanne Winslow sees many advantages to this newer program.

Only Bachelors degrees are offered at Roseman. Students must have a 90 percent or above to pass.
