(KUTV) — James Campbell of Rocky Mountain Power joined us in studio to show Utahns what the Live Electric campaign is doing to clean up our air.

The campaign is set to go over the next three years and will encourage people to transition over to electric vehicles.

Live Electric will install 700 charging stations across the Intermountain West, with a corridor of stations from SLC Airport to Summit County.

The campaign is partnered with Rocky Mountain Power, Uber, Lyft, Lieutenant Governor's Office, Summit County, as well as Maverick, Forth and Nissan.

Live Electric will also help ease the effects of air pollution from cars during the Sundance Film Festival, Campbell says.

The ribbon cutting event for 2 DC Fast Chargers at will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 11:00 a.m., at the Summit County Library in Kimball Junction.
