'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:' Ben Affleck praises the past, forges a new future

Ben Affleck stars as Batman in the Warner Bros. film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"

(KUTV) Ask Ben Affleck what it is like putting on the Batman suit and he'll tell you about the weight and responsibility that comes with taking on a character that has a rich cinematic history.

In our interview Affleck, despite rumors that he reworked the script (in his Batman costume no less), praises the melding of screenwriter Chris Terrio's screenplay and director Zack Snyder's aesthetic and looks forward to wearing the infamous cowl for years to come.

Written by Chris Terrio ("Argo") and David S. Goyer ("The Dark Knight") and directed by Zack Snyder ("The Watchmen") "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" continues that narrative that began with 2013's "Man of Steel" as it pits the world's greatest superpowers, Batman and Superman, and sets up events to come in 2017's "The Justice League Part One."
