Peter Rabbit visits KUTV to spread the word about Blue Jacket Day
(KUTV)- Peter Rabbit visited KUTV Friday afternoon to celebrate the upcoming release of his self-titled film and spread the word about Blue Jacket Day.
Blue Jacket Day is a program developed in cooperation with Reading is Fundamental that provides books and literacy resources to kids in need.
On Saturday, anyone who posts on social media with the hashtags #BlueJacket and #PeterRabbitMovie will trigger a book donation from Penguin Books. Also, those who pre-purchase tickets for the film from Fandango on Saturday will see a $1 donation to Reading is Fundamental. For more information visit RIF.org
To help with your social media posting, Peter Rabbit will be visiting the Mountain America Expo Center (9575 State St, Sandy) for the Utah Kid’s Club’s WinterPalooza. Families are encouraged to stop and get their picture taken with Peter on Friday from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
