1 killed in hit-and-run in Taylorsville, suspect in custody

(KUTV) A man is dead after being struck by a car in Taylorsville, Utah, in a hit-and-run.

Brian Lohrke with Unified Police said the person was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. He also said police located who they believe is the driver a short distance away -- about 4700 South -- and a 26-year-old woman is in custody. Police said they have an Escalade held as evidence

The collision happened at approximately 4100 South and Redwood Road. Lohrke said multiple witnesses saw the incident and spoke to police. It is not year clear how old the man who was killed was.
