FARMINGTON, Utah (KUTV) — Nineteen vehicles, including two semi trucks, crashed on Legacy Parkway due to icy roads on Friday night.
Officials said at approximately 9:45 p.m., the on-ramp to northbound I-15 from northbound State Route 67 became covered in ice.

Due to conditions, they said multiple vehicles lost control, crashing and blocking the entire on-ramp.
Two semi trucks and 17 passenger cars collided, with a total of 19 vehicles involved.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers said five occupants were transported to local hospitals, with the most severe injuries being a broken leg on one person and a head injury on another person. Others who were transported reportedly sustained minor injuries.
The on-ramp was closed for two-and-a-half hours while troopers cleared the roadway.
