3.5 magnitude earthquake shakes southern Utah

(KUTV) -- A 3.5 magnitude earthquake hit southern Utah early Tuesday morning, according to the University of Utah's Seismograph Stations.

The minor earthquake was located 11 miles north of Paragonah, Utah.

The earth shook around 2:15 a.m. and had a 9.7 km depth, the university's station reported.
