(KUTV) A Kearns woman is up to her high heels in trouble after she allegedly used a pair of wedges to waylay a woman during a fight at a South Salt Lake City Coffee Shop. Alexis Elizabeth Steck is charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly hit a woman in the head so hard with her high heel shoes that it knocked the woman unconscious.“I felt my face bleeding and I ran to the bathroom,” says Mattie Provence, who says she was hanging out with friends at the Hip Hop Coffee Shop at 970 East 3300 South last Friday night. Mattie says she saw Steck in the parking lot of the coffee shop in the middle of a fight near Mattie’s car.Provence says in an effort to avoid damage to her car she moved it, and for some reason, she says, Steck took offense to that “and then out of nowhere she just kind of turned and hit me in the face with her high heels,” said Provence. Provence says she was hit so hard by the shoes that it caused her to black out, and lead to 11 stiches above her eye.Charges were filed against Steck Tuesday.
