Boat catches fire in West Jordan, man suffers minor burns

(KUTV) — A man received first degree burns on his face after his boat caught fire.

The man was working on his boat at his home in West Jordan.

The boat was running while the man was working on it and it burst into flames.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire. The flames did not reach the house or the garage.

Fire officials say the boat was a total loss.
