UPDATE (4:43 p.m.) - Police have lifted the shelter in place which was ordered after a burglary near 800 West and 100 South in Salt Lake City.

The incident is over and police are investigating.

(KUTV) -- The Salt Lake City Police Department has asked residents in the area of a burglary incident at 800 W. 100 South to shelter in place.

SLCPD is also asking for vehicles and pedestrians to stay out of the area until further notice.
