Cedar City man among those killed in Las Vegas mass shooting
(KUTV) A Utah man was among those killed in Las Vegas Sunday night in a mass shooting.
Cameron Robinson lived in Cedar City but worked for the city of Las Vegas and was there with his boyfriend at the country music concert when a gunman sent a volley of bullets into the crowd, killing 59 people and injuring hundreds more.
Robinson's boyfriend was also injured in the shooting, taking shrapnel to his back, but is expected to survive, according to Robinson's sister, Meghan Ervin.
Ervin said Robinson commuted from Cedar City, where he had lived for about a year, to Las Vegas daily
She said that Robinson was struck in the neck in the shooting.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help with funeral and medical expenses.
Neysa Tonks, 45, was also killed in the shooting. She was born and raised in Utah and attended Brighton High School.
