Deadly crash forces closure of Hwy 6 near Green River
(UPDATE: January 11, 9:51 a.m.) -- The second person, who was in critical condition, has died, according to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP).
At approximately 7:25 a.m., a Ford 150 was collided head-on with a Toyota Camry.
The driver of the Camry died at the scene, while the other driver died after being transported from the scene.
UHP believes fog may have been a reason for the crash.
(KUTV) -- One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a crash on Highway 6 near Green River, UHP says.
The road has been temporarily shutdown, according to the Wellington Police Department.
Crews are working to clear debris from the accident.
It is unknown when the road will reopen, police say.
The department is reminding drivers to be careful and safe.
