(KUTV) - Some Daybreak residents are rallying together after having to deal with a horrific incident in their neighborhood.

Some women are putting up signs in their community to raise awareness for suicide after a teenager's body was found hanging from a bridge in Daybreak.

The South Jordan Police Department said a 19-year-old man was found hanging from the bridge off of Kestrel Rise Road early Saturday morning by some joggers.

They are still waiting for autopsy results but police believe he committed suicide.

Some residents have put up 12 signs in their neighborhood, one for each of the people on the Daybreak Facebook post of people who have said they’ve lost a loved one to suicide.

If you or someone you know are thinking about suicide, you can talk to someone 24/7 at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, that number is 1-800-273- 8255.
