Details emerge surrounding Washington City deadly fire
(KUTV) Police report a 60-year-old is dead and a woman and a child are in critical condition following a house fire in Washington City.
Fire crews responded to a call at a home near 400 East and Angie Lane. Upon arrival they found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews entered the home and found three people -- a 60-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl.
The child was air-lifted to to Dixie Regional Medical Center. The man and women were transported by ambulance.
Later, the woman and child were air-lifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
The man died at the hospital in St. George. The woman and child are currently in Las Vegas in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The identities of the victims have not been released.
