Fallen Draper Battalion Chief Matt Burchett to be laid to rest
UPDATE: (August 20) -- A Celebration of Life for fallen Draper Battalion Chief Matt Burchett is being held at the Maverik Center. The service is supposed to last at least 2 hours.

(KUTV) -- Battalion Chief Matt Burchett, who died battling the largest recorded fire in California history, will be laid to rest on Monday.
His funeral will be held at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.
The service is expected to begin at 11 a.m.
Burchett, 42, was fighting the Mendocino Complex Fire in Northern California among dozens of other out-of-state firefighters.
While combating the blaze, he was killed by a falling tree.
Burchett leaves behind his wife and a 7-year-old son.
