Fire destroys interior of Spanish Fork home on New Year's Eve

(KUTV) — A fire destroyed the interior of a Spanish Fork home on New Year's Eve day.

Crews responded to the home at 490 N. 200 West just after 1:30 a.m.

The single-family residence was fully engulfed. All occupants had safely evacuated by the time fire personnel arrived.

Spanish Fork City Fire and Salem City Fire departments were able to extinguish the blaze, which destroyed the main level of the residence. The basement received extensive damage because of smoke and water.
