Neighbors said the family had also gotten a dog out from inside their home, but that the dog unfortunately didn’t make it.
The family consists of two adults and two kids. Fire teams said they’ve contacted Red Cross to get the family some additional support.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire crews from Kaysville, Layton and Farmington responded, along with a unit from Hill Airforce Base.
