Four homes evacuated in Layton after gas leak

(KUTV) On Friday morning a gas leak in Layton resulted in the evacuation of four homes.

The leak happened at 8:47 a.m. when a gas line going into the meter of a house under construction at 93 E. Phillips Street was pulled out during construction.

Fire crews evacuated four homes as a precaution.

Dominion Energy responded and fixed the leak by around 9:30 a.m.
