(KUTV) Interstate 15 will close overnight in Box Elder County for two nights: Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Wednesday Nov. 15 from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. each night.

The closure will affect both directions at Exit 372 in Honeyville to allow for a bridge demolition, according to UDOT.

"Drivers will still be able to continue on I-15, but will need to plan for moderate delays and allow extra time to travel through the detour," UDOT clarifies in a blog post.

Alternate routes include parallel SR-13, at either Elwood or Corinne, or SR-38, at either Collinston or Brigham City.

Intermittent lane closures on I-15 may take place through the remainder of the week.

In addition to the overnight closures on I-15, the SR 240 bridge over I-15 at exit 372 (Honeyville interchange) is closed, and will remain closed until April 2018.

"During this closure, the interstate ramps will remain open and vehicles wishing to cross east-west over I-15 will be detoured to the interchanges to the north (Exit 376, Tremonton/Garland) and south (Exit 365, 900 North)," UDOT explains.

Crews will demolish the existing bridge and construct a new bridge over the interstate.
