(KUTV) — Hey, parents and teachers!
With school moving online and kids being home all day, 2News Meteorologist Lindsay Storrs wants to help you out during this chaotic time. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:30 am, she'll be giving a little science lesson on KUTV.com.
These lessons are generally about 10-15 minutes long and include an explanation of weather or other science topics, and will usually include a science experiment or weather instrument you can recreate at home. At the end of each episode, Storrs take questions that are left in the comments of the Facebook live.
Teachers, if you see an episode that you feel would be useful for your students to watch, feel free to post the kutv.com link in your students’ lesson plans.
We hope these lessons will be helpful to supplement what your kids are learning online. They will continue for as long as the kids are home. The first episode is Tuesday, March 24. The classes are sponsored by Craig Swapp & Associates.
