(KUTV) -- Police are calling it an accident. They believe a bullet intended for someone else fatally struck 47-year-old Wanyun Judd when she was inside her home Friday morning.

Her ex-boyfriend of a year and a half remembered the Chinese mother of two as a loving and caring person he cherished.

“I was very, very fortunate to know her. She was a wonderful human being,” said her ex-boyfriend, Dan Mylecraine. “She was very artistic. She was always outside, doing things. She was always eager to help me.”

He remembered the woman as a caring person and regretted not marrying her when they were together. She was shot in her new husband’s home Friday.

“That was the reason she left me, because she needed someone who was going to marry her,” he said. “I have the utmost respect for [her new husband] Sean Judd.”
