One male dies following shooting in Ogden neighborhood

OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — One male has died and another was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Ogden.

Ogden police said they received calls of shots fired at 125 Patterson Street at approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday.

When police arrived they found two males in front of the home with gunshot wounds.

One of the males died on the scene, the other was taken to the hospital.

The surviving male was recently listed in stable condition.

The male suspect in the shooting surrendered to police and was taken into custody without incident.

Police said the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.

The names of the males involved have not yet been released.
