Man drowns in Meadow Hot Pots in Millard County

(KUTV) - Millard County Sheriff's Office reported a drowning in Meadow Hot Pots on the evening of Dec. 15. Shane Stewart, 49, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Witnesses report seeing Stewart dive towards the bottom of one of the deep pools without resurfacing.

When deputies arrived, they called local scuba divers for a rescue effort. Stewart was found several feet down in the springs and was not able to be revived.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Shane's family and friends in this time of tragic loss," stated the Millard County Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post.
