Utah man stabbed in November, allegedly by neighbor, dies

(KUTV) Dale Livingston, the man who was stabbed in the neck, allegedly by his neighbor Dyann Hernandez on Nov. 18 has died, according to Salt Lake City Police Department.

Neighbors who witnessed the stabbing called police and gave the victim first aid. Police at the time said this likely saved his life.

Livingston received 12 stab wounds to his neck area, and was also stabbed in the spinal cord. He was unable to breathe without medical assistance.

Hernandez and the victim have reportedly had disputes in the past, but there is currently no information about what led up to the stabbing. She was charged with attempted murder.

No new charges have yet been presented in court.
