More than 30 birds killed illegally in Springville

    More than 30 birds were killed illegally in Springville, and state officials are seeking the person responsible.

    The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is hoping the public provide information about the case.

    Officers believe the suspect used a pellet gun. But, they were unable to determine the exact cause of death. All of the birds were in various stages of decay.

    The deceased birds were found along Spring Creek Place Road.

    Many of the ducks were domestic, but some were wild birds.
