(KUTV) A group called Mountain Accord wants to stop traffic jams getting to and from those Utah slopes.
"After a good day of skiing taking a couple of hours just to get down to the bottom of the canyon is not a good experience for folk," said Dave Whittiekiend, a national forest supervisor.
Mountain Accord wants more buses taking skiers and boarders in Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons. They also say more people need to carpool up and down the canyons.
People stood at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon Friday to raise awareness for these concerns.
