(KUTV) Four individuals were found dead from an apparent murder-suicide in Mapleton, Thursday evening.

A concerned neighbor reported to police that the family vehicles had not moved, and that the lights in the house had been off for multiple days.

The neighbor said that he had not seen his neighbors for days and was concerned about their welfare. A local employer also reported that a person who resides at this residence had failed to show up to work for consecutive days.

Officers arrived at the home to perform a welfare check. Officers received no answer at the door, and as they looked around the home they observed things that caused them concern.
