(KUTV) - New advanced fire restrictions are in effect for Southwest Utah.

The restrictions took effect at midnight Tuesday morning.

They include Washington, Iron, Beaver, Kane, Garfield, Coconino and Mojave Counties.

Many of these counties include nation parks. Below is a list from the Bureau of Land Management of Utah:

National Park Service: (Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Pipe Springs National Monument, Glen Canyon National Rec. Area, and Rainbow Bridge National Monument.)

The restrictions do not allow any type of campfires.

Discharging or using fireworks.

Operating chainsaws or other motorized equipment.

Motorized vehicles are acceptable between one to 10 P.M.

These advanced fire restrictions will be in place until rescinded.
