New Hildale mayor dealing with resignations, changes in FLDS community
“I think the total was up to about 15, those were employees and board members,” Jessop said.
But one thing is for sure, Jessop tells 2News that she’s been keeping her goal of changing the once majority polygamist community into something that people from all walks of life can enjoy.
“We are going to have to get in a new water system in place and I’m working on that,” Jessop said and something else needed are roads. “People want to see roads.”
There have been many new families that have moved into Hildale the last few months, 2News spoke to one of those families who just so happens to be living in Warren Jeff’s compound and these new changes that are being made by Jessop and her staff are being seen as a positive for the town's future.
