New LDS Temple dedication dates in Chile and Colombia

(KUTV)- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints released new open house and dedication dates for the Concepción Chile and Barranquilla Colombia Temples Wednesday afternoon.

According to Mormon Newsroom, the Concepción Chile Temple will be dedicated Sunday, Oct. 28, in three sessions at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

An open house of the new temple will be free to the public from Saturday, Sept. 15, to Saturday, Oct. 13.

The new Chile Temple will be the second temple in Chile and will be located at 1525 Pedro de Valdivia in Valdivia in Concepción, Chile.

Overlooking the largest river in Colombia, the Barranquilla Colombia Temple will be dedicated on Sunday, Dec. 9, in three sessions at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The open house will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, through Saturday the 24 except for Nov. 4, 11 and 18.

According to Mormon Newsroom, this will be Colombia's second temple and will accommodate for the 185,000 Latter-day Saints in Colombia today.
