(KUTV) — The northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Davis County were closed on Wednesday night after a police pursuit ended in a crash.

Lanes were closed in Clearfield near the 650 North exit, near where a driver rolled over after failing to stop for a Utah Highway Patrol trooper.

Drivers were advised to find an alternate route northbound.

UHP said one of their troopers attempted to pull over a driver who was going 30 miles per hour on the interstate and weaving in and out of traffic.

When police tried to stop the driver, they sped up, so police gave chase.

The driver rolled their car near milepost 335 near Clearfield.

UHP said they suspect the driver was impaired.

One car was hit during the pursuit, but did not remain at the scene, UHP said.
