(KUTV) — A woman was arrested for arson after an Ogden apartment fire on Tuesday that left one man hospitalized.
UPDATE: According to the Standard Examiner, the male victim of the Ogden apartment fire has died. Homicide charges are being considered for the woman who reportedly admitted to setting the apartment on fire.
The woman, identified as Kristilynn Thompson, 56, allegedly told police she set fire to the door because the victim, Dennis Singleton, 66, had locked her out of the apartment, the Standard-Examiner reports.
Thompson reportedly said she lit a blanket on fire and threw it through an open window, which caused the apartment to go up in flames.

The fire was reported at 1:18 p.m. Crews are in an offensive strategy to extinguish the fire.
Crews remained on the scene to perform salvage and overhaul. It was later discovered that a male victim was still located inside one of the apartments.
The male victim was carried out and taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The extent of the male victim's injuries is currently unknown.
Six apartments were affected by the blaze. The American Red Cross is responding to provide assistance to the displaced occupants.
During the course of the investigation, a person of interest was identified, Kristilynn Thompson, 56.
Thompson was arrested by Ogden police in connection with the event. She was booked into jail on charges of aggravated arson and possession of drug paraphernalia.
