UPDATE: Ogden courthouse evacuated following bomb threat, cleared without incident

UPDATE (9:55 a.m.): Ogden Police report that a bomb threat that caused the evacuation of the 2nd District Courthouse in Ogden has been cleared and is no longer an active incident.

Below are social media posts from the incident that occurred just after 9 a.m., Thursday.

(KUTV) — The 2nd District Courthouse in Ogden was evacuated Thursday morning after the Weber County Sheriff's Office received a bomb threat.

Authorities are conducting a sweep of the building.

At 9:54 a.m. Ogden police provided an update, saying that the bomb threat had not yet been substantiated.
