(KUTV) - Park City High School was named as the best public high school in Utah by USA Today last week.
The national publication identified what it called the best schools in every state based on publicly-available data on factors such as standardized test scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, AP enrollment, in addition to other markers.
The data was reviewed by 24/7 Wall St. using a data clearinghouse called Niche.
The high ranking is not the first for the high school in Summit County. In May 2017, the U.S. News and World Report's ranked the school No. 418 in the nation out of more than 22,000 schools.
A similar ranking from The Washington Post named the home of the Miners as the most challenging school in the state and No. 446 in the country.
