Parowan Police discover drugs hidden inside Twinkies at post office
(KUTV) - More than 12 grams of Methamphetamine were discovered inside of snack cakes, such as Twinkies and chocolate cupcakes, in a package shipped through US Mail to the Parowan post office.
The Iron/ Garfield /Beaver Drug Task Force made an arrest after issuing a search warrant and discovering the drugs.
It is believed that a majority of the drugs would have been sold in the Parowan area.
Utah Highway Patrol K-9 division, the US Postal Inspector and the task force have worked for months to make this arrest and discovery possible.
An officer with the Parowan Police Department, who is an agent in the task force, made this felony drug arrest possible in the Parowan/ Paragonah area. This officer has also been a key competent to 20 other felony drug arrests in the area.
