(KUTV) - Layton Police arrested two suspects in a drug house shooting that left one dead earlier this week.

Detectives located Angel Abreu late Friday night in Ogden and arrested him on suspicion of the killing. Abreu was booked without bail into the Davis County Jail on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping and obstruction of justice.

Early Saturday morning, police also arrested a second suspect in the killing at another Ogden location. The 16-year-old boy was booked at a juvenile detention facility on suspicion of the same offenses as Abreu.

The shooting occurred Sept. 27, when police say Abreu and the unidentified juvenile entered a mobile home located at 2500 N. Fort Lane wearing masks and carrying a rifle and handgun. The two fired multiple rounds into the house, hitting 26-year-old Anthony Child several times.

At Child's request, two acquaintances drove him to a hospital in Preston, Idaho, where he later died.

In the course of the investigation, police said they found that the Layton residence was the site of numerous drug activities. Police reported finding a mushroom grow operation, equipment to extract THC from marijuana plants and large amounts of marijuana.

Three men from the house -- Kevin Content, 24, Devon Miller, 22, and Douglas Cordova, 30 -- were booked on charges related to the illegal drug activity.
