(KUTV) Police are asking for helping in locating or identifying two men they say may have been involved with a homicide last week near Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City Police Department issued the call for help Wednesday with video, of the two men they are seeking, walking down a street. They are said to be persons of interest in the killing that took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 26.

According to police, the homicide occurred on 400 West between 300 South and 400 South.

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic adult male. He was described as wearing a dark-colored baseball hat with a white logo. He also had a dark hoodie with a logo on the front, dark shorts, short white socks and low top black and white shoes, possible Converse Chuck Taylor's. He is carrying a bag or purse in the photographs.

The second man is said to be an African American male, wearing a dark hat, white t-shirt, and a dark zip-up jacket with a hood, dark pants and white sneakers.

A reward may be available for a successful conviction of these individuals.

Police ask that anyone who knows the location of these individuals to call 801.799.3000. Anonymous tips can be sent by text to 274637, starting the text with TIPSLCPD, that directs it to the police department. Reference case #17-135694.
