Police identify 41-year-old woman found in Ogden canal
(KUTV) — A woman found dead on Sunday has been identified by Ogden Police Department.
The woman, found in a canal in the area of 1000 West, 600 North in Ogden, Utah, is 41-year-old Hilary Halliday. Police called the death suspicious when her body was found.
Police said Halliday was reported missing on June 26. Police are asking that anyone with information about her disappearance to contact detective Childress at 801.629.8348. Emails can be sent to detectives@Ogdencity.com.
Weber County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched at approximately 5 p.m., Sunday, on reports of a cardiac arrest.
When deputies arrived, they located the body in a remote location and have deemed the death suspicious.
Ogden Police are continuing the investigation.
