Postal service steps in to save Christmas

A Davis County man is sending a million "thank-yous" to the Postal Service tonight after workers stepped in to save Christmas for him.

Wynn Hubrich’s wife asking him to post a letter a few days ago. He was also supposed to deposit their Christmas savings into their bank --$700 in total! The Christmas money was wrapped in an envelope and Hubrich dropped that into the post box by mistake!

The post office in Kaysville tried to help him find it - but it was eventually located at Salt Lake City’s distribution center after the envelope burst open while going through the sorting machines.

The postal workers picked up all the money and it was eventually returned - with every single dollar - to Hubrich
