Salt Lake City man faces rape and kidnapping charges of 2 victims
(KUTV) -- A 23-year-old man was booked into the Salt Lake County jail on rape and kidnapping charges of two different victims on Thursday.
Jonathan William Crozier had a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly luring a 19-year-old woman away from a party and forcing himself onto her in Dec. 2016.
The probable cause statement reports Crozier and the victim left a party both attending to go to a gas station.
He then told her he wanted to show her a mural and took her down an alley where he grabbed the victim by the waist, pulled her hair back and forced her onto a picnic table, the court document said.
Crozier then allegedly covered the victim's mouth and raped her, the PC statement said.
In June 2017, Crozier is accused of grabbing another 19-year-old woman by the wrist and taking her to a bedroom of a home where they were both attending a party.
He blocked the bedroom door and would not allow the woman to leave and stated that he was going to have sex with her, the PC statement said.
Despite the victim telling him, "no," Crozier is accused of continuing to try to take the women's clothes off and eventually pinned her arms above her head and raped her, the court documents stated.
Crozier now faces two counts of first-degree felony rape, two counts of second-degree felony kidnapping, a third-degree felony distribution of a controlled substances and multiple misdemeanor charges ranging from theft of services to criminal trespass.
