Salt Lake City School District reports 3 cases of norovirus
(KUTV) -- The Salt Lake City School District is now among several other districts that have reported cases of the norovirus.
On Sept. 17, three cases were confirmed. Two were reported at Highland High School and one at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education, according to a Facebook post.
Custodians in the district worked over the weekend to clean and sanitize both of the affected schools.
We are in contact with the Salt Lake County Health Department and are constantly monitoring the situation. We make every effort possible to properly clean and sanitize our students’ work and play areas, but the best defense is prevention.
