(KUTV) — Murray Police are investigating what led up to a teen’s death at an industrial yard in Murray Monday night.
Police say it appears the teen and his friends were climbing on equipment to get to the roof.
Firefighters were originally called to the Wagstaff Crane yard near 4300 South, Commerce Drive around 9 p.m.
Police say the teens were not authorized to be in the yard and were on the roof of an industrial building when one of the teens fell through.
The teen, whose name has not been released, died at the scene.
Two other teens were not injured and were with Murray Police at the scene.
Police do not suspect foul play, drugs or alcohol to be contributing factors. No charges have been filed as of Tuesday morning.
