SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — One person is dead and another is critically injured after a shooting at a Utah Transit Authority Trax platform in Salt Lake City.
According to UTA police, the shooting happened on the platform at 900 South 200 West just after 10:00 p.m. Saturday night.
UTA spokesperson Carl Arky said a man called 911 to report he had just shot two men and would wait on the platform for police to arrive.
Paramedics transported one of the men to the hospital in critical condition. The second victim died at the scene, according to Arky.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. UTA Police indicated he is cooperating with investigators.
All three men involved are in their 20's, Arky said.
