A single-vehicle crash left 500 northern Utah homes without power Saturday night.

Officers with the Clearfield City Police Department reported that they were on scene of the incident, located at 300 West 1700 South, just after 7:30 p.m.

MORE from 2News:

According to first responders, the vehicle pictured left the roadway for an unknown reason and stuck a power pole.

Due to the impact, Rocky Mountain Power responded to the scene and was forced to cut power to 500 Clearfield homes.

Officials stated that 300 West between 1700 South and 1800 South will be closed off while crews work to repair the power pole, and that eastbound 1700 South will be limited to one lane of travel until further notice. No estimated time of reopening was released.
